Writing Program – Graduate Writing Center | Staff Assistant | Pullman

The WSU Writing Program’s Graduate Writing Center is seeking a staff assistant to work as a graduate-level writing consultant. GWC writing consultants supports graduate students across all WSU campuses as they write for in their program of study, write for research and publication purposes, and develop materials for the courses they teach and TA. In this position, the staff assistant will spend 8 hours per week in a tutoring/consulting capacity, 8 hours per week preparing for those tutorials/consultations (i.e., by reading a student’s text), and 4 hours per week performing administrative and programmatic tasks as assigned by the GWC leadership (i.e., maintaining the GWC appointment schedule, attending meetings with GWC staff, developing outreach materials or resources for graduate writers, etc.).
