Academic Success & Career Center | Staff Assistant | Pullman

The Academic Success and Career Center (ASCC) seeks a Graduate Staff Assistant for the 2024-2024 academic year. This position supports the ASCC by assisting students in career development, providing drop-in support, facilitating workshops, and coordinating the Undergraduate Placement Survey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with major and career decision-making, internship exploration, and job/graduate school search.
  • Provide drop-in support and career assistance during scheduled hours.
  • Facilitate academic courses and workshops on career-related topics.
  • Develop communication tools for ASCC and campus faculty/staff.
  • Assist the Career Coaching team with student workshops.
  • Coordinate and implement the Undergraduate Placement Survey.
  • Conduct employment research on recent graduates.
  • Streamline survey process and increase response rates through marketing and outreach.
  • Participate in ASCC events and support daily administrative tasks.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in signature office events (career expo, etiquette dinner, etc.)
  • Support team with administrative tasks.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
