The Charles Allen Master’s Thesis Award Fund was created by a gift to WSU from Charles Allen in 1927.

Richard R. and Constance M. Albrecht Fellowship

The Richard R. and Constance M. Albrecht Fellowship Fund was created by a gift to WSU from Richard R. and Constance M. Albrecht. Richard M. Albrecht is a past Regent of Washington State University serving from 1987-2000. Richard retired from Boeing as the Executive Vice President of Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Seattle.

Arnold and Julia Greenwell Memorial Scholarship for Social Sciences and Humanities

Arnold and Julia Greenwell endowed a scholarship for social science and humanities at Washington State University.  Under their will, a number of funds were created to express their deep and abiding commitment to academia.

Russ and Anne Fuller Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Research/Scholarship

Russ Fuller, CFA, Ph.D. is the Founder, President and Chief Investment Officer of Fuller and Thaler Asset Management, Inc.  His career expertise has included over 40 years of investment experience as well as academic research.  Russ was a member of the Washington State University finance faculty from 1976-1990 and also served as the Chair of the Finance Department.  Russ believes that graduate education is very important in order to develop the interdisciplinary skills and experience needed for private and public opportunities.

Clarence “Bud” Ryan Institute of Biological Chemistry Scholarship

Clarence A. “Bud” Ryan, a pioneer researcher in plant biochemistry was the first Washington State University faculty member to be admitted to the National Academy of Sciences.  Bud started work at WSU in 1964 and was instrumental in the development and success of the Institute for Biological Chemistry.  In 2005, Bud was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from WSU.  Bud passed in 2007.  His wife, Pat, wanted to create an endowment to fund scholarships in his name for Ph.D. students studying plant sciences in the Institute for Biological Chemistry.
