Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation

Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation

You’ve spent years on your dissertation and it’s time to turn it in to the Graduate School. What happens then? Every semester, the Graduate School’s Daniel Vickoren, Programs and Graduations Supervisor, teaches students how to understand and navigate WSU’s thesis and dissertation formatting requirements. Daniel also debuts a new thesis/dissertation template and gives additional tips on the title page, abstract, chapter headings, using previously-published work, and much more. The WSU librarians Debra Spidal and Talea Anderson also discuss how your dissertation is cataloged, submitted to ProQuest/UMI, and made available via the Research Exchange for others to learn about your work. PDI offered the Submitting Your Thesis and Dissertation workshop every semester, please check the current event calendar to see when the workshops will be offered.
