Land-Grant Symposium

Land-Grant Symposium: How Can Land-Grant Universities Better Serve the Public

Tuesday, May 7, 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

This symposium will focus on the future of the nation’s land-grant universities. Dr. Stephen M. Gavazzi will deliver the keynote address and lead a series of dialogues focused on the need for land-grants to evolve to maintain their relevancy and value to the public. Register HERE by April 30.

There are two ways that you can participate in the symposium:
1. In person–The event will base from the WSU Pullman campus, and other WSU campuses will have a livestream location where participants can gather with their colleagues to attend and interact. The locations of these gathering places are:
  • Everett Campus — Room 102
  • Pullman Campus — M.G. Carey Senior Ballroom, Compton Union Building
  • Spokane Campus — Spokane Academic Center, Room 20
  • Tri-Cities Campus — Student Union Building, TSUB 120N & 120S
  • Vancouver Campus — Dengerink Administration Building, Room 236
  • Global Campus participants can attend via livestream.
2. Livestream–There will be a livestream link to the event’s sessions so you can attend from wherever you are as long as you have a reliable internet connection. Those registered to attend via livestream will receive a livestream link by email prior to the event.
