GradCAS & EngineeringCAS Superuser Training

Dear Graduate Coordinators and Program Directors,

As we prepare for the 2026 admissions cycle (summer 2026, fall 2026, spring 2027), we invite programs to join the GradCAS and EngineeringCAS superuser community. Superusers receive training to manage aspects of their applications locally, including editing program-specific questions and requirements during prelaunch and making minor updates to live applications (e.g., open/close dates, branding).

Each summer, the Graduate School works with programs across the system to update application details during what Liaison calls prelaunch—a critical period for finalizing application content before the August 1 launch. Since certain elements—such as custom questions and letters of recommendation—cannot be changed after launch, it is essential that applications are accurate before they go live.

Additionally, WSU will be implementing Liaison’s Outcomes in this next cycle. Outcomes serves as a bridge between WebAdMIT and myWSU, improving data integration and streamlining applicant processing beyond what WebAdMIT alone can provide. The Graduate School and ITS are rolling out Outcomes in stages to ensure a smooth transition, and superusers will play a key role in shaping this system by providing feedback and helping refine the implementation.

If you are interested in becoming a superuser, please email cas.support@wsu.edu, and we will include you in upcoming training sessions. Our next superuser meeting will be in mid-February. The Graduate School and Information Technology Services will continue to provide support regardless of your participation.

Best,

Signatures
