ASE Offer Letter Templates

The Graduate School requires employing areas to provide offer letters for Graduate Academic Student Employee (ASE) appointments.

Offer letter templates provided by the Graduate School are meant to be a starting point for the terms and conditions of each graduate ASE appointment. Each employing area should update the appropriate offer letter template as needed.

Signed offer letters of employment must be attached to the Workday appointment staffing event.


Academic Year Assistantship Appointment or Reappointment Offer Letter

The assistantship offer letter is updated annually, including minor revisions to the instruction cover page. Please verify the version number to ensure you are using the most up-to-date template.

Academic Department Approval Form

Academic department approval is required for graduate students appointed to assistantship positions in non-academic units. A copy of the signed approval form must be attached to the Workday appointment staffing event.
