Green Dot Training: Reducing Gender-Based Violence

February 14, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 3:50 pm

THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE PRESENTS:

Green Dot Training: Reducing Gender-Based Violence

Taylor Ellsworth

Taylor Ellsworth, Health Education Coordinator, Cougar Health Services

What is Green Dot?

Green Dot is a violence prevention program that focuses on making our campus safer by empowering bystanders, like you, to become active members in reducing gender-based violence (intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual assault). Green Dot will equip you with tools and strategies for taking action to help someone at risk of experiencing gender-based violence. During this workshop, we’ll also talk about how you can overcome personal barriers to take action and help your fellow Cougs. After training, you’ll feel confident in your ability to help stop violence before it happens.

**Food will be provided
