THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE PRESENTS:

FINANCIAL LITERACY SERIES: TAXES

Two things are certain in life: death and taxes. And while tax time arrives every year, it often comes with different laws— as well as different financial situations for you. This lesson will simplify taxes to help you prepare for them (even if you’re not the one prepping them).

In this lesson, you’ll learn about:

• Basic tax documents.

• How to prepare to file your income tax return.

• Your tax liability through different types of taxes.

• How tax rates and deductions result in your effective tax rate.

All PDI events will be available to sites other than Pullman through a web link that will be emailed to you before the event. Please make sure to register on the link below and indicate at which WSU site you are located.
