THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE PRESENTS:

FINANCIAL LITERACY SERIES: BUDGETS

It’s time to think about the “b” word a bit differently. Ultimately, a budget is a strategy for how to spend your money. This lesson will help you create a spending plan that lets you not only get the things you want and need today, but also plan for the things you’ll want and need in the future.

In this lesson, you’ll learn about:

• The three main components of a spending plan.

• How income and savings can dictate expenses.

• How to define and design your spending plan.

• Ways to set goals, evaluate, and modify your spending plan.

All PDI events will be available to sites other than Pullman through a web link that will be emailed to you before the event. Please make sure to register on the link below and indicate at which WSU site you are located.
