The College of Business at WSU has been named "Best Business School" by Princeton Review

Graduate studies in architecture at WSU have been ranked 5th in the nation and 4th in the region.

Washington State University's molecular plant sciences program is generally recognized as one of the world's top ten programs. Its faculty are among the most frequently-cited researchers in the plant and animal sciences.

According to Academic Analytics, WSU's plant scientists ranked 2nd in their number of journal publications, while the plant sciences program was ranked 5th most productive in the U.S.

The sociology department has consistently ranked among the top graduate programs in the nation. In recent years, the department has served as the editorial home for prestigious journals such as American Sociological Review, and Criminology.

Academic Analytics ranked Washington State University's zoology program, part of the School of Biological Sciences, ranks 10th in the nation. According to Science Watch, based on citation impact in agricultural sciences, WSU was recognized as the 13th most influential institution in the nation, and 24th in the world.

In U.S. News and World Report’s 2006 account of America’s Best Graduate Schools, Washington State University's Ph.D. program in criminology ranked 18th in the nation.

College of Veterinary Medicine stands as the only fully accredited program in northwestern North America that exceeds federal standards for medical education, and animal care and use.

The doctoral program in clinical psychology is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association.

According to Educause, Washington State University has one of the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced mental health nursing practitioner programs.

U.S. News and World Report's 2006 edition of America's Best Colleges ranked Washington State University, as one of only two Pacific Northwest universities, among the nation's 60 leading public research institutions.
