DESCRIPTION:Connecting communities for health: How WSU’s work in Africa affects health in North America\n  \nJoin us to learn how Washington State University’s Paul G. Allen School for Global Animal Health is tackling the global spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). WSU scientists work in collaboration with Washington global health organizations to understand how AMR emerges and spreads\, an understanding which helps develop interventions. The Allen School is celebrating 10 years of research and education dedicated to finding solutions for these kinds of global health challenges. \nWashington Global Health Alliance’s Tina Vlasaty will moderate a panel headlined by Dr. Guy Palmer\, founding director of the Allen School and senior director of global health at Washington State University.
