Writing Workshop Series: Literature Review

A literature review systematically maps out the current state of knowledge on a topic, in order to justify the new knowledge to be gained or current knowledge to be verified or refined.  This workshop provides a framework for critically situating your research in the larger scholarly conversation, and identifying resources and strategies for conducting literature reviews. Learn detailed information about each step of a literature review, including: developing questions, searching and analyzing the literature, and tips for writing the review, as well as understand the importance and benefits of conducting a literature review during your academic career.
