Three Minute Thesis Information Session

February 4, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE PRESENTS:

Three Minute Thesis Information Session

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. Ph.D. students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance. 3MT is not an exercise in trivialising or ‘dumbing-down’ research, but challenges students to consolidate their ideas and research discoveries so they can be presented concisely to a non-specialist audience.

This workshop will explain more about the Three Minute competition, highlight the requirements necessary to create an effective presentation and will feature a panel of graduate students who had success in the competition from previous years.

All PDI events will be available to sites other than Pullman through a web link that will be emailed to you before the event. Please make sure to register on the link below and indicate at which WSU site you are located.
