Join us for a discussion and overview of the Office of Research and the proposal and submission process. We will address some elements needed for the success and characteristics of competitive proposals. From how to identify funding sources like the PIVOT platform, when to make connections with funding agencies and program officers, and learn the “to-do items” during and after the submission process. This session is meant to be a discussion, bring your questions and come prepared to participate!

Emily Brashear is a Faculty Research Development Specialist within the Office of Research and serves as their representative on the Lighty/French-Ad Safety Committee.
