Fellowships and Scholarships

Washington State University offers a number of graduate fellowships and scholarships through the Graduate School and academic departments. We encourage you to talk with your academic advisor regarding scholarship opportunities available through your department.

External Funding

In addition to university scholarships and fellowships, graduate students are encouraged to seek their own funding through external sources. This often propels students into new directions and can be a powerful addition to a student's professional portfolio.

To assist with identifying outside sources of funding for graduate students, contact Office of Grant and Research
