As a member of the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), Washington State University is commited to transforming the way aspiring faculty members prepare for their careers. UNIV 597 Preparing the Future Professoriate

This course provides graduate students with important information about the academy, practical strategies for success, contextual knowledge of the professoriate and the issues facing higher education.

Course assignments will prepare students to apply for faculty positions.
